I'm finally getting a chance to officially share The Priestess Box from Anita Apothecary that we received in June a few weeks ago! Anita Apothecary is one of my favorite witchy stores on Etsy who started a subscription box service earlier this year.
The thing I love most about this box is the candle we receive–there's always a large sized, soy candle in a glass jar that's related to the theme of the box and usually adorned with crystals, flowers, etc. It's hard to find a subscription box that sends a candle of that size. These candles are perfect for rituals and altar spaces.
June's theme was The Priestess Box:
The Priestess is the symbol of feminine spiritual power, mystery and the unknown, stillness and the guardian of the unconscious. She is powerful. We are each the Priestess of our own Craft.
Inside this box you'll find handcrafted and chosen items I felt would help you connect with our own spirituality and femininity. Made with love, intention and magick, from my home to yours.
If you don't follow Anita Apothecary on Instagram, be sure to go do that. She announces the date that the box goes on sale and there's always a limited amount since she's a one woman shop, usually around 50-60 boxes. You can also keep check on her site and her Etsy shop for updates and announcements for box releases.
Here's everything we got in June's The Priestess Box:
Priestess Soy Candle | $17
See what I'm talking about? Such a beautiful altar candle. All of the bigger candles you see on my altar space are from Anita Apothecary.
Hand poured and adorned with dried red roses with a very feminine, floral scent.
Priestess Clay Mask Kit | $29.95
The other thing I love about this box is that we receive natural beauty products that are perfect for self-care or pre-ritual baths. In previous boxes I've received scrubs, a milk bath, ritual perfumes, etc.
Mask cleanses and purifies skin, while the oil helps to rejuvenate skin cells.
Washcloth Made by Marie's Grandmother | Priceless
Marie, the woman behind Anita Apothecary, didn't put a price on the cloth. I'm the one who deemed it priceless 🙂 How cool is it to receive a handmade washcloth by someone's grandmother in a subscription box?
Marie states "She is 78 years old and enjoys crocheting afghans while watching Judge Judy and Cops." I love it!
Silver Pentacle Witches Box | $24.95
How beautiful is this box? I love altar boxes to store crystals and other valuables, which make for easy transport when you take them outside to charge. You can also use the box to set other things on top of it like candles and crystals.
"The perfect place to hold all your treasured items. The pentacle represents the elements of nature: earth, air, fire, water and spirit."
Priestess Roll-On Oil | $11.95
This divine smelling oil is made with "highly prized rose absolute oil." I use oils as perfume and during rituals to add in their elemental energy to mine. I've also been wanting an oil with rose oil in it so I'm so happy we got this!
Priestess Aromatherapy Diffuser Necklace | $12.95
I was so excited to see this beautiful necklace in the box because I'm so big into aromatherapy. It really helps to calm and ground me, so I love collected jewelry pieces that I can wear with me throughout the day. I have two bracelets already so this is my first aromatherapy necklace and I'm really excited to try it out.
You put essential or ritual oil on the pom pom so the scent can stay with you for a few hours. Possibly longer, I'll have to report back on how long the scent stays on the pom pom since I've never tried it this way!
Crystal Clean Hand Sanitizer | $5.75
I use hand sanitizer quite a bit while I'm out and I've got to say, I tried this stuff today and I'm in love with how it smells. Not to mention I love that it's all natural.
"Vegan, all natural, using a blend of eucalyptus and lavender essential oils. Also contains amethyst, quartz and black tourmaline."
With the black tourmaline I could use this stuff just from being around certain family members! Sanitize that energy.
Copal Incense Cones
Last but not least are these copal incense cones. Incense cones are actually my favorite, I prefer them over incense sticks. I find that their scent is not as overwhelming as sticks can be, plus they take up less room.
I was really happy and pleased with this month's box, like always. I received altar tools, jewelry, and natural beauty/health products–it was very well rounded and I'm looking forward already to next month's box.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I share the box here every month, usually after it's already sold out, so definitely follow Marie (@anitaapothecaryshop) so you can be alerted when the next box goes on sale. The next box is coming out in late August and will be themed The Witches Box of Protection.

Howdy! Quick question that's completely off topic. Do you
know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when viewing from
my iphone4. I'm trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to fix
this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share.
With thanks!
