Moon manifestation has been one of my favorite ways to approach it because the moon's phases touch on all the aspects required for it: clarity, inspired action, appreciation, and letting go.
In today's blog post, I will share how moon manifestation will help you improve at manifesting in general. Beyond manifesting, following the moon is also an excellent way to integrate self-care into your life at the same time.

What Does the Moon Mean Spiritually?
The moon holds deep spiritual significance, symbolizing emotions, intuition, and the cycles of life. It influences the tide and mirrors the natural ebb and flow of our own emotional and spiritual journeys. Each phase of the lunar cycle teaches us something profound about transformation and growth:
- New Moon: New beginnings and introspection.
- Waxing Moon: Growth, action, and building momentum.
- Full Moon: Illumination, manifestation, and release.
- Waning Moon: Relaxation, letting go, and inner peace.
Spiritually, the moon reminds us to honor our emotions and trust the rhythms of life. It encourages us to embrace change, practice self-expression, and align with the cycles of nature.
How Do You Manifest with the Moon?
Manifesting with the moon is a powerful way to align with the natural rhythms of the universe and tap into its energy to bring your desires to life. The moon's cycles provide a guide for creating momentum in your manifestations, with each phase offering unique energy to harness. Here's how to manifest with the moon:
- Track the moon’s cycles: Understanding the different phases of the moon is key. The lunar cycle begins with the new moon and flows through waxing, full, and waning phases. Each phase supports specific actions in the manifestation process.
- Set your intentions: During the new moon, use a pen and notebook to write down your desires. Reflect on what you truly want and focus on new projects you’d like to start. This is the perfect time for self-expression and dreaming big.
- Use rituals for clarity: Incorporate candles and essential oils into your practice. Light a candle to signify your intention, and use oils like lavender for relaxation or frankincense for spiritual connection.
- Create moon water: Place a jar of water under the moonlight to charge it with lunar energy. This moon water can be used for cleansing or as a symbolic way to integrate the moon’s power into your manifestations.
- Take aligned action: After setting your intentions, take small, inspired steps in the waxing moon phase. This builds the momentum needed to bring your goals to life.
By syncing your emotions and actions with the moon's cycles, you amplify your ability to manifest and flow with the tide of universal energy.
Which Moon Phase is for Manifestation?
While the entire lunar cycle supports manifestation, the new moon is the ideal phase to plant seeds for your desires. This phase represents new beginnings and is the perfect time to focus on setting intentions for what you want to attract.
During the waxing moon, your intentions gain momentum as the moon's light increases. This phase encourages action, optimism, and growth. The full moon is a time to celebrate your progress and release anything blocking your manifestations. Finally, the waning moon is for reflection, relaxation, and clearing space for new opportunities.
In summary, the new moon is the best time to set intentions for manifestation, while the waxing moon helps build energy and the full moon supports emotional clarity and self-expression.
New Moon Manifestation | Setting Your Intention
Every phase of the moon carries a different energy, and these different energies touch on everything essential to manifesting our desires.
The first step in moon manifestation is setting a clear intention, which is precisely the new moon's energy. You can't see the new moon in the sky, which means it's a time of planning, not acting. This is when you either set a new intention or add feeling to an existing one.
To manifest something you want, you need a clear picture of the END RESULT of your desire for the universe to work from. Of course, the universe always knows what you truly want, even without this clear picture, but your intent to focus on a desire will bring it into manifestation quicker if that's what you want.
I see the new moon as a new slate and a fresh start. I take a detox bath, journal, and write down my new intentions or add a new perspective to an intention that has carried over from the previous month.

Waxing Moon | Inspired Action
Once you've set an intention and are actively visualizing the end result of your desire, you will have activated the law of attraction, and things will begin appearing in your reality that will lead you to your desire.
You'll be receiving inspiration and possibly impulses that you'll be excited to act on. Random emails might pop into your inbox, someone might strike up a conversation with you in line at the coffee shop, or a particular song will come onto the radio with lyrics that convey encouragement or an idea. Sometimes, even seemingly drastic things can happen, like a job loss, because it's the quickest way for the universe to bring you to your desire.
Inspired action feels good, exciting, and not like drudgery. Our society thinks success is based on blood, sweat, and tears, but that's wrong. Success is based on passion. When you're on fire, you're on the right path. Yeah, you might work at something for hours, but it won't feel like work because you'll be so into it.
So this is what the waxing moon phase is all about–taking inspired action. During this time I write down any ideas that come to me and follow what feels good. I stay open to all possibilities and watch for signs that will lead me to my desire.

Full Moon Manifestation | Celebrate
When it comes to manifesting, nothing is more powerful than appreciating and celebrating all that is coming to you. If you ever want to raise your vibration, just start writing down everything you're grateful for. When your vibration is high, you become an open channel for your desires to manifest into your reality.
The full moon is a time to celebrate and amplify your goals. It is a powerful time to visualize your desires and express gratitude, and the energy of the full moon makes it all bigger.
During the full moon, I usually just love to spend the night relaxing in a bath with a book, checking in with my new moon intentions, releasing any blocks that have come up for me, making a gratitude list, and visualizing. Just feeling good, really.

Waning Moon | Release
During this phase, the moon is disappearing in the sky, so the energy of the waning moon is one of slowing down, releasing what's holding you back, and decluttering your mind and living space.
During the waning moon phase, I do my daily morning Waning Moon worksheet, which helps me focus on ways to honor the stillness and care for myself.
Women are cyclical by nature (and men would benefit from this as well). We are not meant to take action constantly. Slowing down and taking care of yourself is just as important as all of the other aspects of manifesting.
The thing about manifesting is that it will likely bring up blocks within you that have been there since childhood. This is great because it means you can heal them. The Waning Moon phase is a time of healing these blocks to remove the obstacle between you and your desire.
I also take this time to declutter and clear my home because clarity makes room for manifestation. Click here to read my waning moon ritual for clearing and making space.
Each Phase Has a Purpose
It's essential to avoid getting stuck in any one of the steps in manifesting. Except maybe the celebrating/appreciation step–that one would probably yield great results! But you wouldn't want to get stuck in the intention setting, or the inspired action, or in the slowing down. They're ALL important.
We most often see people perpetually in the action phase, which is usually not inspired. Following the moon reminds you to move on to the next phase of manifesting your desire. This ensures that you move through the steps on a continual basis and that your intentions stay fresh, clear, and focused because you'll be revisiting them every four weeks.

I love the way you organize and simplify information. I get overwhelmed with so much (too much, actually!!) information that I can’t get focused. This is perfect, just like on your Anything can be book. This is soooo helpful!! Thank you so much!!

Thank you for explaining how each moon phase has it's specific purpose. I'm trying to get myself personality & my manifesting intentions in line with moon time. And I appreciate you sharing your personal journey.... I feel like I'm in the same boat!! But I'm not ready yet to put myself public. Thank you again!

Okay, holy cow. Thank you so much for sharing! So appreciative! I'm kind of freaked out a little bit with how much this process resonates with me. I learned about Law of Attraction over a year and a half ago. Since I've grown to understand it I realized that this process was something I've been inherently doing naturally. And now coming across this new viewpoint I realized that the moon phases have been coinciding with the process! I am in awe! Spirit is amazing! Thank you so much sister! Much love❤

Hi! So happy and glad I found you!! I'm trying to do a vision board and happened to come across your site and then looked at your other social media sites too .Your articles and posts are sooo resonating with me!! Am newbie to moon manifesting and journalling, but this article is resonating and helping me with my vision board too. I've had a hidden interest in the spiritual/holistic things etc for a while, but never really taken any action steps to actually practice any of them. But your articles and posts have inspired me to take action, don't be a people pleaser and just 'be me'. Don't hide away this side of me. Follow these interests and this could be a new passion of mine. Thank you soo much. Grateful to have found you at this time. Divine timing.
Looking forward to checking out more of your writings. Thanks again . xx

I absolutely love this post! I have recently got into this and I've only told one of my friends. I thought he would judge me but he's so supportive and I'm glad to have him in my life!
I feel so bad looking at parts of these amazing worksheets but not being able to buy them. I want to support you so bad by buying or using some of your worksheets!
Keep up the good work, Jessica!
