Keeping a moon self-care binder has made self-care not only more magical but also easier to practice consistently.

In this article, I'm going to share what I keep inside my moon self-care binder. This binder combines manifesting, self-care tips, and magic all in one.

    moon self-care binder

    I am moon-obsessed, it's true.

On my spiritual journey, I first learned everything I could about manifesting and the law of attraction. That led me to healing beliefs and parts of myself that I didn't love, which is when I began practicing daily sacred self-care.

I was then introduced to this new world of moon magic that incorporated everything I love: manifesting, self-care, and spirituality.

And so, we are now here. I am utterly fascinated, in love, and taken away by this path I'm on.

    My Moon Self-Care Binder

My moon self-care binder simply holds everything I need to practice daily self-care and my moon rituals, which give me a deeper dose of self-care.

I have sacred self-care rituals for the four main moon phases and moon ritual worksheets to help me implement those rituals.

One of the main questions I get is how to make self-care more consistent. My answer is to keep a self-care binder, which I'm sharing today.

This binder has made spiritual self-care so much more accessible and tangible for me.

At the bottom of the post, I'll link to everything I used to create this binder.

    Section 1: Moon Calendar/To-do Lists

In the front, I keep my moon calendar and a running to-do list behind that.

If you'd like my moon calendar, you can click here and get it for free. I typically send out a new calendar for the year every November.

I spent a lot of time creating this beautiful calendar. It displays the moon's position each month, as well as the exact time and astrological sign of the full and new moon. In my Patreon, I frequently use this calendar to create moon and self-care rituals based around the astrological signs the moon is in.

Keeping the calendar in front helps me schedule self-care dates and plan my moon rituals. I usually do about two a month.

Section 2: New Moon Ritual Worksheets

Since the New Moon is the beginning of the lunar cycle, I put it first. The new moon is a time of fresh starts and new intentions.

I use these moon ritual sheets for all of my moon rituals. This is the order I put them in:

    1. New Moon Magic: this sheet has crystals and rituals that are perfect for a new moon ritual.
    2. Journal: since I always like to start by clearing my mind before I write down any new intentions, I put this sheet next.
    3. New Moon Intentions: This sheet is for setting my intentions for the month. It also has a section at the top for helpful new moon tools, like bath oils, sage, oracle cards, etc.
    4. New Moon Oracle Spread: I always like to finish a moon ritual by pulling oracle cards. I write the messages into the boxes on the sheet, or you could write them in your journal.

Section 3: Waxing Moon Ritual Worksheets

The next phase after the new Moon is the waxing moon. It's all about rooting our intentions and taking inspired action. Here's the order I put these worksheets in:

    1. Waxing Moon Magic: the summary of energy, crystals, and waxing moon activities.
    2. Now is the Time: This worksheet is basically a check-in. I write down what's been going well for me, what I feel excited about (that's divine guidance, you know), what I want to let go of that's holding me back, and the core feeling I want to focus on.
    3. Ideas + Inspiration: since the waxing moon is all about taking inspired action, I use this sheet to record ideas, inspiration, and even proposals coming in. You don't have to act on everything, only those things that stand out to you. Follow your bliss.
    4. Waxing Moon Oracle Spread
    5. Waxing Moon Daily Morning Worksheet: I fill this worksheet out every morning during the waxing moon period. It helps to root your New Moon intentions

All my worksheet bundles have a Daily Morning Worksheet because I find them so powerful. This one is different because it has a section for an oracle/tarot card pull reflection and is catered to inspiring, joyful action within you.

Section 4: Full Moon Ritual Worksheets

Next is the full moon, a time of releasing and receiving. Letting go of what has been holding you back so that you can fully receive your intentions manifesting.

It is also worth noting that our intentions can sometimes take several moon cycles to manifest, but each one helps us release blocks and step closer to our new reality.

    1. Full Moon Magic: energy, crystals, and rituals for the full moon
    2. Journal: to write out everything that's on my mind
    3. Release + Receive: this worksheet is to check in with how things are going, what's been coming up for me, what I want the full moon energy to amplify, and what I want to release.
    4. Appreciation List: The energy of the full moon amplifies anything you're feeling, so this is a powerful time to think of everything you're grateful for. Gratitude attracts abundance.
    5. Full Moon Oracle Spread

Section 5: Waning Moon Ritual Worksheets

The waning moon is the perfect time to enjoy what this lunar cycle brought forward, to focus on healing or letting go, to rest and take stock, and to cleanse your space and mind.

    1. Waning Moon Magic: energy, crystals, and waning moon activities.
    2. Rest + Make Space: a check-in worksheet to reflect on the lunar cycle and to record ideas for making space for yourself.
    3. Cleared Home, Cleared Mind: This cleaning list includes a daily chore checklist, a deep cleaning checklist, and a checklist for energetically clearing your home.
    4. Waning Moon Oracle Spread
    5. Waning Moon Daily Morning Worksheet: I fill this worksheet out every morning during the waning moon phase. It reminds me to honor the resting period of the lunar phase in addition to the usual sections to fill out.
    How I organize my Moon Binder #moonmagic #moonvibes #mooncalendar

Click here to read my waning moon ritual for rest and reflection.

    Section 6: Past Oracle Messages

I never throw away oracle notes, so I save them here. It's fascinating to me to read them back over and see how they all relate to what I'm currently experiencing.

Sometimes, an oracle spread won't make much sense, but I've learned that they always will a little later.

    How I organize my Moon Binder #moonmagic #moonvibes #mooncalendar

    Section 7: Other Mindset worksheets

Yes, I'm a worksheet whore. I really do find that that's where my learning and implementation of self-care is at its highest.

If I can write it down, it becomes clearer in my mind and is also much more likely to manifest. This is where I keep worksheets from the other bundles in the shop.

Section 8: Inspirational Quotes + Notes

When I first learned about the law of attraction, I attended many summits and podcasts with inspirational speakers.

When I first absorbed this information, I also used to watch The Secret on replay. I wrote pages full of quotes and advice.

    How I organize my Moon Binder #moonmagic #moonvibes #mooncalendar

I keep these pages because I used to read over them constantly, which retrained my mind on how to think. When I did that, my entire life changed.

Since that summer, I have been financially abundant, spiritually fulfilled, so excited to live, and just on a delicious trail ever since. (Side note: I'm not constantly in a good mood, and it's not that I don't face challenges anymore.)

I'm just much happier overall and freer.

Mindset is everything. Your beliefs are everything. Magic is real, whether you prefer to describe it scientifically or not. Everything is energy, and you have the power to align yourself with things at higher frequencies (love, happiness, abundance).

Keep up the good work young one, there is so much to learn with our ancient women's teachings. I too started out just like you, I was being called by the moon at 30 years old and had very similar interests and even a chart and moon binder because I too was fascinated by her moontime. I then led moon circles with maidens, mothers and wise women in my home and very magical things began happening.. Now at 60 I live by the 13 moons and still teach how to combine all parts of the self with the rhythms of the soul, emotional body and more.

Thank you so much for your encouraging and inspiring comment. I don't doubt at all that magical things began to happen when you began leading moon circles; how beautiful. Thank you again for the support and encouragement, I appreciate it so much <3

I found this site on Pinterest and LOVE it - I'm obsessed wth the moon, its cycles, etc. Glad to meet a fellow woman obsessed with it too! Love reading all the articles too! I've been a practicing witch for 20+ years.

My only issues is that I would LOVE to have all of your worksheets, but since I'm on disability, I cannot afford the extra $17 for the sheets - I'd love to see them for people with email subscriptions, otherwise I'll have to make them up on my own!

      Keep on writing!
      Namaste.

I love this and it's so beautiful. I am not as drawn to the moon but I love so many of the concepts and guided self-care check-ins that I am going to customize a bit and work this around the dates in my monthly hormone cycle.

Yes, that's what I was so drawn to as well—the way the concept matched the self-care check-ins that touch on all aspects of our well-being! So much more powerful when you align it with your own monthly hormone cycle ✨
