Too many people think that to manifest what you want, you need to read every law of attraction book under the sun and cancel out all negative thoughts, etc. Understanding and implementing the law of attraction doesn't have to be hard. It's actually quite simple!
In today's, I'm going to give you my easiest, back-to-the-basics tips for manifesting anything you want.
How to manifest what you want
The goal of this blog post is to simplify manifesting your goals, dreams and desires as best I can.
Because it actually is really simple–we just have a compulsion to make it harder than it really is!
Whenever I find myself experiencing things I don't want and have fallen out of deliberately creating my reality, I take a step back and reassess.
Most often, I'm either trying too hard or have let my ego take back over. And my ego always tells me getting back on the manifesting train is going to be hard, so I should save it for another day.
Don't save it for another day.
And stop overcomplicating it. Manifesting is easy, simple, and can work quickly.
Do you want to consciously create your reality? Are there desires you're wanting to manifest this year, month or week? Let's make it easy.
1. Write down what you want
Get your mind clear. Think of three things you really want to bring into reality. I say three because it helps to keep your focus strong and your mind uncluttered.
What I like to do is get three notecards where I write down my goals or intentions on each card. This helps because it's contained and it's easy to look through the cards daily and quickly flash the image of your desire across your mind.
Whatever it is you want, write it out starting with "I am..."
If that throws you off too much, you could write "I am becoming..." or add the words "manifesting"
- I am/becoming financially abundant
- I am/becoming healthy and strong
- I am/becoming happy and free
- I am/becoming sexy and fit
- I am/becoming wealthy
- I am/becoming beautiful on the inside and out
- I am/becoming a mother/father
- I am manifesting living in a beautiful home
- I am so in love with my partner/manifesting a soulmate
- I am a successful graduate
2. How does it make you feel
After that, think about your intention. What feelings does it conjure up?
Freedom? Joy? Elation? Accomplishment? Passion? Happiness? Excitement?
Write these feelings down underneath your written intention.
This is so powerful because we're never really going for our intentions–we're going for the feelings they bring us.
For instance, if you just visualize having a fit body with zero emotion attached to it, nothing gets stirred up energy-wise. What does the idea of a fit body FEEL like to you?
It probably feels something like strength, vitality, and confidence. Your intention is the car you get into, and the feelings are the engine that turn the car on and make it move.
Without them you're just sitting in a parked car.
Imagine how each intention will make you feel and let that feeling run through your body as you write it down.
3. Visualize general, happy scenarios
Let your mind play a little with this one. For each intention, think of a few fun scenarios in your head that feel light, playful and general.
When I was manifesting my new home, I was specific in some ways but stayed general overall. I wanted a home with land, surrounded by trees with a fireplace and wood floors.
In my mind, I would lightly visualize driving through my driveway with trees on both sides. I kept thinking of what a retreat it would feel like, secluded from the world.
I didn't get super specific about how it all had to look. You can do that if you want, but I have found that remaining general and focusing more on the feelings of my desires makes them not only happen faster, but far better than I could've imagined anyway.
When I was visualizing a job for my husband, I saw him dressing up for work and kissing me goodbye. I pictured myself shopping freely and going out to eat whenever we wanted.
I stayed open about what his job was going to be and just pictured the results of our life once he had a good job.
What's a general picture you can see from your intention manifesting? Just like you imagined how it's going to make you feel–what's a likely scenario that will take place in your daily life once this desire has manifested?
Once you've thought of a few scenarios, write them on the back of your notecard or under the feelings you previously wrote down.
4. Look over your cards once a day
Now that you have your cards created, keep them next to your bed, on your desk, or someplace that you'll definitely see them every day.
What I've always done is look over my cards once a day. The intention statement flashes across my mind, I let myself dwell in the feelings the intention brings, and then I visualize the scenarios I have written down.
You only need to spend around five minutes doing this. Keep it fun and light.
5. Schedule in appreciation
I say "schedule" because so often our minds focus on the unfair and disappointing aspects of life every day instead of the beautiful, magical parts...especially when we aren't used to feeling appreciation on a regular basis.
Before I fall asleep is when I visualize what's on my cards and then I'll think of ten things from my day or life that I loved or appreciated.
When I was at financial rock bottom, I started thinking of all I was grateful for every night before I fell asleep. Air conditioning, a warm bed, a fridge, a roof over my head; I had so much despite my situation and fears.
When you feel appreciation for your life at least once a day, you will turbo boost your manifestations. You cannot attract happiness with feelings of not having enough. It can't work.
You've got to feel appreciation for what you currently have so that you can attract feeling appreciative for even more.
To sum it up
In conclusion, visualize and feel gratitude every day. Keep it simple and uncomplicated–I promise you that you will begin seeing your life shift in a new direction.

I try everyday to be thankful for what I have and I try to stay positive, but, my husband is not a very positive person. When I am trying to be positive to bring good fortune our way he is always negative. How does someone handle this when there spouse or partner are negative nanny.....
Emme
I have the same issue with my husband. What I try to do is envision him being more positive,. I also practice the LOA by myself. and when he is in a good mood and something good happens, I try to tell him its because he thought positive about the situation. It's not easy but I try to picture my husband free of worry and negativity too when I practice the law of attraction. Hope that helps some. Good luck.

Hey Brandi, I wrote a post on a similar topic here that you might find helpful https://jessicadimas.com/youre-attracting-negativity-others/
It's about manifesting a different behavior in the people around you. I really like Emme's advice too on visualizing him being in a good mood and being more positive!

Hi Jessica,
Great article, thank you. I did this many years ago. (Every single thing happened btw), I remember reading the cards for so many days, then hiding them away from a couple of months.
In your instructions above, how long do you recommend your exercise?
