The best crystals for anxiety and how to use them to help ease and heal your own energy is what this post is all about today.
In this blog post, I'm going to share which crystals spoke to me during my bout of intense anxiety, how they actually work to ease your anxiety, and how I specifically used them to help me.
Can crystals really help with anxiety?
Yes, without doubt. While there is scientific proof behind the energy of crystals, the true power is you: your intentions, beliefs and what the crystal itself represents to you.
This may or may not make you feel better. If it doesn't, it's only because you are searching outside yourself for healing, when that is never, ever possible.
To me, crystals are extremely soothing, calming and bring me into the present moment with their energy. A leaf could do the same, though. Anything from nature inspires within me stillness and can ground me almost instantly.
The key is your openness and willingness to let your energy flow be directed and cleansed by the crystal or stone. I'll touch on this more at the end of this post.
I've been working with crystals for years. For me, they work because of what they represent to me and how I use them as reminders for how I want to feel. I'm also open and willing to believe in things I don't understand with my mind but can feel through my Knowing.
What crystals are good for anxiety?
If you were to walk into a crystal shop or browse online for crystals that help with anxiety, you'd likely be drawn to crystals that are soothing, calming and grounding without knowing anything about them.
Our intuition shouldn't be called a sixth sense because it's truly our first. You'd be amazed at what crystals you'd pick out and then see afterwards the energy they carry that directly relate to soothing anxiety or emotional upset.
Below are my favorite crystals that I used in the past year during my own experience with anxiety.
Blue Chalcedony
This stone helps to slow down the chatter in your mind. It reminds you to breathe deeply and alleviates feelings of fear and depression. With anxiety, your mind can feel like it never stops.
I carried it with me in my pocket and purse last year because it also reminded me to use my voice and say no to protect my time and healing space.
Lepidolite
This is a very calming stone that is especially good for hard transitions. It's also a great stone to meditate with and helps to restore balance. It represents trust and releasing anxiety.
This is one of those stones that's energy is extremely soothing to me. I've held this one to my heart many times in the last few years.
Amazonite
A powerful stone that reflects the qualities of the present moment–being in the here and now, which is perfect for anxiety because anxiety happens when we're living in the future. In the present moment, you are always okay.
It quiets the mind and calms aggression, as well as facilitates self-discovery and embracing one's own truth. This is so crucial when it comes to healing anxiety.
Rhodonite
This is a stone for clearing the mind of confusion, stress and unease. It soothes panic and fear. Aids in emotional healing.
It's frequently called The Rescue Stone due to its strong healing vibration, especially with healing relationships. I actually felt called to it to heal the relationship with my own self. Another gift anxiety brought me.
Yellow Aventurine
I don't know that this stone is specifically recommended for anxiety, but I was drawn to it during my period of intense anxiety. This stone carries an energy of balance, opening the sacral and solar plexus charkas.
It alleviates grief, calms emotions, helps energy flow and balances the yin-yang energy. I think when anxiety is present, there is usually past trauma coming to the surface that needs to be acknowledged rather than feared.
Green Calcite
This stone dissolves old energy patterns and belief systems that no longer serve you. It helps you to see things in a new light and expand your mind.
Anxiety keeps a tight grip on your mind it can feel like. The more you can practice expanding your beliefs, little by little the anxiety will lift.

Black Obsidian
This is a great stone in my opinion for anxiety because it brings subconscious traumas and beliefs to the surface. These are the very things that can fuel anxiety or be the cause of the physical symptoms that are causing the anxiety.
Like other black stones, it's also very grounding and anchoring. I wore this as a bracelet when I'd leave my house as a way to remind myself to calm down, breathe and stay grounded.
How to use crystals to soothe anxiety
Here's where you truly need to pay attention, because no matter which crystal you decide on, it needs YOUR magic in order to work.
The power of the mind is no joke, and energies amplify other energies. Crystals really do hold specific energy; it's been tested and they are used in so many of our electronics because of it.
With the least amount of your participation, a crystal's energy can help to streamline yours, especially if you're open to it.
With your full cooperation (intention, openness) a crystal's energy can pull you into a different energy field entirely. If you are open to the flow of the crystal's energy, it will raise and cleanse your vibrational energy.
Open yourself up. Believe in things you can't see or quite fully understand. Let the energy of the earth heal yours.
As you do this, you are releasing mental resistance, which is all anxiety is. Practice releasing. Practice being vulnerable. Practice letting the waves of love and stillness wash over you. Let go, and then let go even more.
Wear or carry your crystals for constant reminders of whatever it is they represent to you: eternal safety, love, groundedness, stillness, protection, healing, joy, hope.
Sleep with them next to your bed. Wear them as jewelry. Hold them in your hands when you meditate. Lay them on your forehead or heart space and breathe deep. Let them accompany you while you heal and I think you will find them as soothing as so many others believe them to be.
