A plant subscription box is a really fun and easy way to grow your plant collection while learning more about plants. I considered myself to not have a green thumb but after being subscribed to a plant box, I'm proud to say I've become a bonafide plant mama!
In today's post, I'm going to share the top plant subscription boxes currently on the market for you to choose from.
Which plant box is best?
This is subjective, but in my opinion I weigh in cost and overall value. I love receiving subscription boxes that really make me feel like I'm getting amazing value for what I'm paying.
And when it comes to a plant subscription box, I think it's also important that they package the plants well. It's understandable that they might get a little damaged just from being in a box while being shipped to my house, but it's important that they are well watered before they leave, are packaged in a protective manner, and aren't in route for very long.

Hirt's Boxed Botany delivers monthly plant boxes curated by their team of specialists. Beautifully packaged houseplants will arrive at your doorstep around the third week of each month. With a large variety of plants to choose from, they promise to never ship the same plant twice.
2. Plantly Addicted
This three month plant subscription box from Plantly addicted is perfect for the person who is looking for a shorter subscription or as a gift for a plant lover in your life.
Sydney, the shop owner, will pick out a 4" unique plant every month and send it to you or your loved one for three months. Reviewers say the plants come fast and very well packaged.
3. Lively Root
If you're looking for a quarterly box that sends rare plants, then definitely check this one out. Subscribers receive a "hidden gem" plant in a 6” diameter grow pot delivered to their door every quarter.
This subscription is made for someone who likes to be a little different, a houseplant pro that’s looking to continue to grow, or someone who just loves surprises and trying new things!
