A good self-care subscription box can really help to make self-care easy, accessible and will also serve as a monthly reminder to get your self-care on.

In today's blog post, I'm sharing the best self-care subscription boxes that I've found on the market. I factor in three things: quantity, quality and price. When those three things align, I think the box is worth checking out.

The benefit of a self-care subscription box

One of my favorite ways to grow my collection of self-care and spiritual items is through self-care subscription boxes. A few months ago I shared my favorite witchy subscription boxes, which is how I've collected the majority of my crystals, essential oils and sprays, candles and incense.

My self-care routine is how I connect with myself, ground and manage feelings such as anxiety. You don't need much to practice self-care–I started out with just a candle and a journal–but self-care tools and items do help with inspiration for practicing self-care.

And who doesn't love a gift in the mail every month?

    The best self-care subscription boxes

I decided to scan the market for self-care subscription boxes and share my favorites here. For me, self-care is more than just some pretty items. The boxes below are the ones that I found to have substantial tools that could truly aid in the implementation of self-care.

A reader shared this box with me today (thank you!) What I love about this box is how it focuses on mental health and comes with an interactive journal every month with prompts that are rooted in the cognitive behavioral therapy.

Site description: YouAlity strives to provide you with the resources needed to work on your mental health as part of your daily routine. HopeBox

This is a really cool and unique box that focuses on uplifting your spirits, which is why it's called the Hope Box. I think this is perfect for those of us who have anxiety, depression or any other issue in our life where we could use a hopeful reminder that all is well.

    Pause and Unwind

I like the items this box sends and it seems carefully curated. I also really love that they feature items made from woman-owned businesses.

    Hygge Fem Box

    Hygge Fem Box

    Hygge Fem Box

What caught my eye with this self-care box was their focus on mindset, products that de-stress, and that they seem to often send books. They have three tiers where you can choose between getting candles or books.

Site description: The Hygge Fem Box is a monthly subscription for cozy ladies who likes the Hygge lifestyle and give yourself moments of beauty and care. Each box is designed for people who know how to enjoy the little things. (Perfect to treat yourself or for gifting to a friend).

How many items per box: it appears that they send around 5-6 items per box–that's what I counted anyway.

Rating: 4 stars out of 5 reviews

    Honey & Sage Company

    Soulify Biz Box

This box is catered for soulful entrepreneurs, but I'm putting it on this list because I love that they send self-care and mindset products. Even if you're not an entrepreneur but just into personal growth, I think this is a cool box to check out.

Site description: A monthly self-development box for soul-driven entrepreneurs that delivers a blend of strategy, mindset and spiritual goodies to your doorstep. MindWander

    Mind Wander self care box

    MindWander

If you have anxiety or a lot of stress in your life, this is one to definitely check out. I like that they send workbooks in addition to self-care items because I really feel that tools like worksheets help to integrate the information into our subconscious minds.

Site description: The premier box for women's mental health, created by a PhD therapist. Boxes include both practical strategies and self-care products. Monthly CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) workbooks are filled with exercises for decreasing anxiety and stress and increasing positivity. The Go Love Yourself Box

The Go Love Yourself self-care subscription box

    The Go Love Yourself Box

I really, really like this box because it comes with tools to implement personal growth! Plus I am huge into reading personal growth books. I attribute so much of my mindset success to keeping these types of books on my nightstand.

Site description:This community is for the self-help loving, personal growth devoted woman who is on a mission to be the best damn version of herself she can be. Receive a thoughtfully curated box each month that helps you to put the ideas from the book into action. Join our virtual book club & online community.

How many items per box: the first option comes with a book and either a workbook for the month or a webinar; the second option comes with the book plus self-care items and tools; the third option comes with everything plus a one hour group coaching call. Rating: 4.5 stars out of 118+ reviews

    Introverts Retreat

    Introverts Retreat

This box caught my eye because I'm an introvert and love the idea for a box like this! It's essentially a box that sends a book with self-care items to help you just tune out the world and introvert.

Site description: Each month you'll receive a novel written by a female author, an exclusive Introverts Retreat bookmark, plus a few self-care goodies carefully curated for a day of introverting (4-5 items in a box, 1-2 items in a mailer).
